Who are the hosts?

Anjabeen Ashraf (on the right) holds a PhD in counselor education and has spent her personal and professional time helping, advocating, and standing in solidarity for justice. Her research has examined vicarious trauma in American Muslims. She can be tweeted @fahsana.

Zakir Khan (on the left) is a social justice driven educator who originally hails from California. During law school, Zakir advocated on behalf of many different marginalized groups. At the Center for Constitutional Rights, he successfully protected the rights of hundreds of people of color. As a member of Loyola’s Litigation and Technology Clinic, he represented indigent clients in Orleans Criminal District Court. He can be reached at @muzzakh.
